Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Remove any old adhesive or debris. A smooth base guarantees lasting adhesion in high-traffic commercial areas.
Dry-fit tiles from the centre of the room outward before applying adhesive. This ensures balanced cuts at edges and symmetrical patterns.
Use a notched trowel to apply high-quality tile adhesive. Work in small sections (1–2 sq m) to prevent the adhesive from drying before tile placement.
Press tiles firmly with a slight twist. Use spacers for consistent joint width. Allow adhesive to cure for 24 hours before grouting.
Apply appropriate sealant for the finish type. Buff clean and allow full cure before heavy commercial foot traffic (typically 48–72 hours).
